Ok, my avatar's supposed to move and also has different apparel than what's appearing-not a big deal, but I don't know exactly what to do to get it the same as on the Yahoo image.

July 5 2008: the beginning

Finally my first posting!  Adding the avatar took some time, but after I printed out the directions (still like the "old fashioned" printed page for certain things!), success.

The 2 pix at left are of Frank and me at Wisconsin Dells,

I'm a veteran of last summer's Blogs, Podcasts & Wikis class, and I'm also one of those people who generally take at least 2 times through to really get comfortable with something new, especially techie stuff.  So here I am-

Interests you'll  find here:  Frank (my husband), cats (we are owned by one), trips far & near, astronomy with our telescope, Francophone countries, books, especially sci fi, mystery, cooking, gardening, sewing, creative writing, Smoky Mountains & Nashville & Ohio, helping someone living with chronic pain, and anything else I wander across!

Also, it will help with designing a revised AUP/internet training presentation for all those bouncing-off-the-wall- new 6th graders this fall!
